I am Katherine E. Macdonald, and from my law firm in Gainesville, I represent clients throughout North Central Florida in family law, divorce, probate, and estate administration and estate planning. I received my Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Florida and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1983.
I am proud to come from a long line of attorneys, including several generations of attorneys in Nova Scotia. My father, W.D. Macdonald, was a University of Florida law school professor for several decades, and my brother, John B. Macdonald, is an attorney.
